Patented Turbines for low-cost electricity from low-velocity streams
About our technology

We are in the process of commercializing three patents listed below to produce electricity for utilities, for individual homes, or for boats and yachts.
Notable features of the invention:
Notable features of the invention:
- Moving water turns water turbines that are connected to electric generators. The turbines may be installed on vertical axis or horizontal axis on bridge columns.
- An innovative feature of our patents is the use of the low-RPM, high-efficiency electric generators found in wind turbines in conjunction with our water turbines.
- The water turbines are installed in existing bridge columns that stand in moving water. Vertical axis turbines are preferable, when it is desirable to install the turbines close to bridge columns.
- Smaller units may be installed in running water along seawalls near homes or offices for generating power.
- Much smaller units may be hung from the sides of boats and yachts (while anchored in moving waters) to produce electricity to charge batteries.
